About Me August 3, 2007
My name is Gina, and I am learning to cook.
A couple of years ago I quit the corporate job that was sucking the life out me. After I left, I decided I needed a hobby so I started this blog. I wanted to find a way to get fresh, healthy and delicious food to all of our tables, while spending minimal time in the kitchen.
Hoards of people (ok, really only my four readers) ask me why the blog is called Cosmic Rhino. Isn’t it obvious? Has anyone tried to find an available URL lately? It’s quite the challenge to find ANYTHING sensible. So, when I saw cosmicrhino.com was available, I grabbed, even though I had no idea what I’d use it for. And besides, I thought the name was…well…cute.
Ok, what else might you want to know. This is me.
Hi Darlin’Daughter!
Great ideas, interesting foods! I love them all!
Keep going…The bok choi, kale, and chinese cabbage are ready to pick. How about a fresh smoothie recipe?
Love,
Mom
Thanks for all the ways you have inspired me to eat healthy, well, and above all,not to feel I have to go hungry . You are a super daughter. Papa [Cosmic Rhino Dad]
New smoothie recipe coming soon!
I love your website. My friends are checking in, too.
Good reviews! What a classy chef you are! The greens are so good in smoothies especially when masked by pineapple (which fights bacteria in the stomach, banana, and berries. You are an inspiration!!!
Keep shining!
Love,
Your Mum
Hi Gina:
It’s evening and there I go again, thanking you for the smoothie recipe which is a delight after a long day of work: refreshing and delicious! Even Roma (my sweet doggie)loves smoothies,(greens and all), but then she’s so bright.
The pumpkins in my garden are ready for picking. Do you have any recipes to share?
Love,
Your Mum
