Muy Muy Savory Turkey Meatballs October 28, 2007
I’m a sucker for good meatballs, but I don’t eat a ton of beef so I was thrilled when I recently saw an episode of Lidia’s Italy, a great PBS cooking show, and saw that turkey meatballs were a perfectly acceptable form.
And then, as if the cooking goddesses were telling me meatballs were my destiny, I stumbled across Food & Wine’s Sicilian-style meatballs recipe in their September 2007 article, 12 Italian Classics You Need to Try Now. I decided now was the time. I used the F&W recipe as the base, swapped out turkey for beef, and tweaked it in a couple places to make them a tad healthier. The end result?
