Veggie Samosas April 19, 2007
As promised, here is my first Indian food post from Hipcooks cooking class (which I highly recommend - so fun!). As a healthier option, we baked the samosas instead of frying, and they were fabulous! Here’s the recipe with a few “Gina” tweaks.
Ingredients:
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil (if frying)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 or 2 Serrano chilies, minced
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- A dash Turmeric, if desired
- A dash Chili power, if desired
- A dash Paprika, if desired
